Argentina is an excelent place to enjoy Wine Tourism. When a tourist thinks about cities like Mendoza and its outskirts (like Luján de Cuyo and Maipú, among others places); or in San Rafael at the south; or places of other provinces such as San Juan, Chilecito (La Rioja), Cafayate (Salta) and General Roca (Río Negro); without a doubt, among his expectations, is the desire to get into the wine world, its history, wine cellars and vineyards, and meet the experts who will teach him to appreciate the colors, fragrances and flavors of their land.
At first, only the wine cellars located in the provinces of Mendoza and Salta host visitors and tourists, but nowadays, Río Negro, San Juan and La Rioja are also highly qualified to recieve any person interested in the winegrowing industry.
Wine, became one of the main economic activities of these attractive regions, and is cultivated since the XVI century. |
