Mar del Plata is the most important tourist destiny of the country, with an extensive range of possibilities. Its 47 Km. of beaches poses services according to its hierarchy. One of the best advantages of Pinamar as a tourist destination is that it is only 350 km. from Buenos Aires by a safe and fast route.
The 1º of July of 1978 was created the Urban Municipality of Pinamar that includes part of the territory pertaining to the party of Gral Madariaga. As of that date, the localities of Montecarlo, Pinamar, Mar de Ostende, Ostende, Valeria del Mar and Cariló formed the Municipality of Pinamar, and they indirectly conformed a Producing Center of Services that are related to the tourist activity. |
