Cerro Castor ski resort is the perfect mountain for adventure in the end of world, because of its long ski runs, the quality of its services and the beauty of its landscape. It is situated only 27 km away from Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. On the extreme south of the Andes mountain range, the site calls for tourists to enjoy the most fascinating geography.
Its weather is ideal for practicing winter sports since it has the best snow and one of the longest ski season in South America.
Modern ski lifts allow an effective distribution of skiers in the entire mountain, and access to a skiable terrain of 400 hectares. There are 17 km long ski runs suitable for skiers of all levels - one of them has been approved for competition by the International Ski Federation - to enjoy nature without limit. There are also excellent and various off-track runs ideal for those looking for virgin snow, or extreme ski and snowboard. |
